The winners of the University of Iowa’s 2019 IT Leadership Award are Shari Lewison, university chief information security officer (CISO), and Isaac Podolefsky, senior project manager from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Technology Services team.

Today, they’re clean, usable space on a campus where every square foot counts.

An IT recruitment specialist service is helping OneIT units conduct successful searches for technology professionals. The service aims to improve applicant pools, streamline search processes, and enhance the experience for hiring departments and job candidates alike.

As manager of the Extended Technical Support (ETS) Team in the University of Iowa’s Information and Technology Services—Enterprise Services, Shawn Potter always looks for ways to free up ETS professional staff to spend time on tasks that are key to the department’s mission. And, thanks to the OneIT End User Support Project (EUS), which focuses on increasing the efficiency of end-user support by implementing the new service model, he’s been able to do just that.
