An Extended Technical Support (ETS) consultant delivers on-site upgrades at the Iowa Robotic Observatory, a telescope about 1,500 miles from the University of Iowa campus, under the dark night skies of southern Arizona.

Jonna Higgins-Freese will lead the Office of Teaching, Learning, and Technology Instructional Services team, managing the daily work, planning, and cross-functional teams for multiple enterprise instructional technology services including the campus-wide learning management system (ICON), academic technology consulting, and the Learning Design Collaboratory initiative.

Information Technology Services-Research Services (RS) is participating in the Kirkwood Community College Workplace Learning Connection program, which exposes high school students to high-tech careers and aligns with the university's efforts to develop, recruit, and retain talent for hard-to-fill research computing positions.
