new OneIT council will help guide IT decisions and priorities related to four strategic goals: Innovation, Partnerships, Workforce Development, and IT Evolution. The IT Evolution and Development Council will serve as the voice and representative for initiatives in those areas.

Jenifer Steil of the Extended Technical Support team in Information Technology Services will facilitate the council and Danny Tang of the College of Engineering will chair it. Tang is the accountable leader for the Innovation goal.

Additional members of the council are: Lance Bolton (accountable leader for the Partnerships goal), Chris Clark, Frank Delin, José Jimenez (accountable leader for the Workforce Development goal), Nick May, and Rachel Napoli (accountable leader for the IT Evolution goal). A representative from Health Care Information Systems (HCIS) will also serve on the council.

In addition to guiding the strategic direction of its goals, the council will cultivate collaboration to advance progress, engage appropriate stakeholders for input, enlist subcommittees as needed for deeper exploration, advocate for necessary resources, monitor and communicate outcomes, and share responsibility for continuity of efforts across goals.

Details on other OneIT councils are posted on the governance teams page of the OneIT website.
