Campus IT leaders made additional progress on developing a vision for the future state of OneIT.

They held a retreat Feb. 4, where small groups from the previous workshops shared their ideas on culture and structure. After hearing from all the small groups, the participants grouped similar ideas and prioritized them based on what is needed to achieve the strategic objectives we have identified. They will meet again to discuss how process enhancements and people (knowledge, skills, and capabilities) can position the campus IT community for success.

All of these efforts will be rolled into a description of the future state of IT at the university including organizational structure, IT governance, culture, and values along with other important elements. They will share it with the broader campus community for input.
