The 2017 OneIT Year in Review is published at https://oneit.uiowa.edu/year-review-2017.

The report focuses on the portfolio of projects initiated through the Transparent, Inclusive Efficiency Review (TIER)—which have saved $3.5 million to date, allowing resources to be reinvested in core-mission endeavors. It also highlights progress in operating as a unified IT organization. Many other important, exciting OneIT activities are happening in parallel, and will be highlighted in the future.

“The OneIT community should feel great pride in how far we’ve come. I’d like to acknowledge the effort put into OneIT activities, and the transition process that many have gone through as we made changes,” says Associate Vice President and CIO Steve Fleagle. “I’d also like to thank our campus partners for their support of these efforts. Operating as a unified organization will provide a more cohesive, consistent experience for technology users, and help us better meet the needs of interdisciplinary activities.”
